Fun Facts about the Movie !
Fun Facts:
~Was discovered through the radio program "From the Top" by casting agents in NYC.
~It took 1 month of rehearsals and about 3 months to film the movie. I was in NYC from Nov 2002-Feb 2003 with a little break for the holidays.
~Has never played the cello nor the bass guitar before this movie.
~In the original script, the bass guitar player was a boy.
~For my audition I read for the roles of Summer and Lead Guitarist
~Audition Picture(above) with my first electric guitar the Daisy Rock Guitar (www.daisyrock.com) in Awesome Blue!!!
~Also for my audition, I played several Beatles songs, A Bouree' by L. Mozart, and Lenny Kravitz's song, Fly Away.
~Was taking Drama at her home school and got the lead role in school play but had to drop out for the movie.
~Jack's nickname for Rebecca is ReebaDeeba!
~The movie was shot in NY and NJ, parts of the music video was shot in LA.
~ The bass guitar used in the movie was a Framus Star Bass.
~ I don't know why my solo at the end of the movie was taken out....:( that's an director's question.
